Look Back is one of those films that quietly stays with you long after it’s over.
In just 58 minutes, it tells an emotional story about friendship, ambition, creativity, loss, and why people create art in the first place. In this review, I break down what made Fujino and Kyomoto’s relationship so memorable, the incredible animation and soundtrack, and why I believe Tatsuki Fujimoto may have written this story as something deeply personal.
